USG examination might be most interesting to pregnat women as they can see their babies' fetal development.It should be underlined that USG examination is totally and not harmful to pregnant women and their babies.
The lastest version of this Ultrasound technique is called 4D USG.With its three-dimension imaging in real time,4D USG allows a more in-depth observation of the baby.Two-dimensional study is flat cross-section,3D is a static image in three dimensions,while the 4D study is a moving image in three dimensions (directly tracking the baby's movements)
In other words,by using 4D USG,we can clearly see the fetal expression in real time (whether the baby is smiling,happy,sad and so on).Yet,this type of USG is certainly not morely intended to observe the baby's facial look.More inportantly,4D USG could show the baby's anatomy in more details and could even recognize any baby disorder more lucidly.
