MR Spectroscopy
MR Spectroscopy is a specialized technique associated with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) that is used to detect pathophysiological changes in the brain tissue (inter alia NAA,choline,creatine,lipid,lactate,myo-inositol,glutamine-glutamete,and alanine) and to help diagnose non-invasive diseases without biopsy or craniotomy. This technique is particularly useful, among other, for the characterization of a brain tumor,infection/abscess of the brain, brain metabolism disorders, and epilepsy.
MRCP (Magnetic Resonance Cholangio Pancreatography)
MRCP is an MRI technique to visualize the biliary ducts which is non-invasive and not exposing X-rays/radiations to patients. This technique can identify the existence of stones in the gall bladder and in the biliary ducts, and detect tumor or other malignances in the vicinity.
